JB's commenced trading in the early 1990’s manufacturing one style of tee and polo in 12 different colours and carrying stock in a 240 sqm warehouse in South Melbourne.
At the time, there was no other manufacturer warehousing garment stock in Victoria, it was all made to order. JB's decision to stock garments was a revolutionary idea.
In the mid 90’s recognising the quality of China product coming into Australia and the forth coming uncompetitiveness of Australian made basic clothing. JB's changed from Australian made garments to imported garments.
At this time the Australian Promotional Industry was in its infancy and a sleeping giant was awakening. The timing was right.
Over the next ten plus years JB's grew keeping pace with the exciting Australian growth for Promotional, Sports, School and Work Wear clothing.
