Australian Spirit: History

Australian Spirit was conceived in Australia in 1994. Over the past 15 years Australian Spirit designers have refined and developed products to deliver a stylish and modern contemporary yet fashionable range of high quality garments covering polos & tees to jackets.

Diversity of the geography in Australia, means all Australian Spirit garments have been developed to reflect the difference between the hot North, the chilly South and all points in between. In the last 5 years Australian Spirit have embraced the new Hi-Tech fabric Kool-Dri, with moisture removal properties as well as traditional fabrics.

As times have moved on so have the Australian Spirit garments. Production space in China is shared with many well known global sports brands, reflecting the retail quality standards that you as a savvy consumer now expect.

The Australian Spirit brand has always been seen as the innovator, the brand in front, the people who bring you something different, a brand that brings you a superior garment.

Australian Spirit: Going Green

Australian Spirit embarked on a mission in 2008 to ensure that natural products will be introduced into further ranges. Australian Spirit is mindful of the environment and is exploring natural fibres for a future green range.

But what is going green?

Australian Spirit designers are working on several ingredients such as bamboo, organic cotton, woollen mixes, fibres derived from fruit and vegetables, fibres obtained from trees and plants and various other bio technology components.

Green fabrics are healthy and ecological and can be applied broadly in many areas such as sportswear, casual wear, work wear, outer wear, knits, lingerie and swim wear all to suit the casual modern pace of life in Australia.
